MEET THE COACHES

ESAU MARTINEZ

Coaching Director

Esau Martinez was born in Oaxaca, Mexico. He is married with two kids who are twins Wllie and Milagros. He currently working in Goddard School in Verona, Wi. When  not coaching with my own teams, I like to walk, run, work out, travel and spend time with family and friends.

Playing experience: From a very early age he fell in love with this beautiful game. He spent his youth playing in the streets  with friends and cousins. His father was always supportive and took him to soccer games. He began to organize soccer games with local teams.

Coaching: He started to coach when his son start playing soccer at the age of 6 and in 2018  He decide to get his coaching license from USSF so could be more involved and supporting to his son. He loves soccer and enjoys the tactical aspect of the game.

Dreams: Coaching at the state and national level and my kids grow healthy and go to college.

Damian Quintana

ANTONIO  MORA

Antonio Mora born in Mexico City. he comes from a family of 5 brothers that love to play soccer. One of his brothers become a professional soccer player for Mexico league. He is married with 3 children 2 boys and 1 girl.

Playing experience: Antonio has extensive playing background in youth and amateur  level. When he moved to Madison, he and his brother formed a team called "Diablos" and continued playing and competing in local soccer leagues and state tournaments, Winning 2 Green Bay Miller Cups and 3 championships in the Madison Latino League.

Coaching: Antonio began coaching in 2017 since his son Ricardo started to play soccer, That is when he become more involved and took Grass Coaching course by the USSF.

Dreams: My dream is that my son will one day become a professional soccer player like my brother.

SEBASTIAN VALENCIA
I was born in Cali, Colombia. Married with two Children. I work as a Welder for the company Milwaukee's Inc. Madison, WI. 
Hobbies: I like to exercise, play soccer, listen music, read 
My experience as a player: Left back, at the age of 10 years old I started to playing in the of the school in the city of Cali "Juventus FC. getting two title in the regional tournament, two years later i ascended to the lower divisions of the professional team Deportivo Cali. playing for two years.
Dreams: To be able to help young people to become professionals players.

JENNA KIRSCHBAUM

Jenna Kirschbaum was born in Saginaw, Michigan. However, she grew up in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin her whole life. Jenna is 21 years old and is currently going to school at Madison College. She just finished playing her 3rd year of soccer at Madison College as well. She also works full time at Stefans Soccer in Madison. When she is not at school or working, she is either coaching kids, at the lake with her dogs, or hanging out with friends and family. 

 

Playing Experience: Jenna has been playing soccer since she was 4 years old in Beaver Dam, WI. She played for the Beaver Dam soccer club from age 4 to age 18. Jenna also played for the Beaver Dam High School Girls Soccer Team all 4 years. On top of that, she played soccer at Madison College for 3 years. 

 

Coaching: Jenna started coaching soccer when she was a freshman in High School. Jenna and some of her teammates volunteered to coach little kids (ages 6 to 8) every Monday after soccer practice. When she moved on to college, she volunteered to help coach the U11 girls verona soccer team a couple times with her college head coach Matt Schwartz. Now Jenna is coaching for Sonic and is excited to start coaching the U11 team in the Fall with Coach Sullivan. 

 

Dreams: To graduate college and get a Masters Degree in Speech Therapy and start a family someday.

Damian started playing soccer at the age of 6 in Santa Rosa, Mexico. He progress to play at the varsity High School level where his team won the conference title. He continued to play in the Hispanic leagues in Madison, WI. When he and his family moved to the United States in the fall of 1999.

Coaching Experience:

I started my coaching career when my son at the age of nine started playing Futbol for  Regent Soccer Club and continued to coach his son for 7 years. I have been  coaching for ACE for one year 2018 and this summer 2019 i have joined Sonic Sport Club I am currently the Coach for the U13 Boys

He currently holds the following licensing:

  • Wisconsin State Level E License (WYSA)

SULLIVAN SCHWITTERS

Sullivan Schwitters was born in Iowa City, Iowa. He grew up in Waunakee, Wisconsin and did grade school at Waunakee High School. He was a multi-sport athlete competing in Soccer, Basketball, and Track & Field. He’s 21 years old and is currently a Junior in College and is finishing up school at Madison College and is soon to transfer into University of Wisconsin. He still plays soccer outside of school with a Semi-professional team, Isthmus City FC. He is very excited to coach this year alongside coach Jenna.

 

Playing Experience: He began playing soccer at a very young age and fell in love with the sport.  As he developed and grew as a soccer player he aspired to play goalkeeper since 4th grade. He is still active with the sport and continues to play for a semi-professional team.  

 

Coaching: He’s coached at multiple kids camps. Between 2014-16, he worked at X-Camps (ages 6-12), where he co-led a 5 day soccer program for kids who wanted to play soccer and/or learn more about the sport. He also helped coach at a basketball portion of X-Camps as well. He also helped coach a 3 day camp at Waunakee (U10-12) in 2018-19. And he had also helped coach a week long indoor camp at North Central College (U13-15) during his freshman year in 2020.  

 

Dreams: He hopes to one day graduate from UW and make it to Dental School.
